The strong management team of J.Dot is made up of its directors who have a wealth of experience.
Wayne Woods
Managing Director
Wayne has a long history in a senior management role within a successful logistics company based all over the UK.
Wayne holds experience in opening new sites and continually growing them in size and capabilities.
Wayne started in this role over fours years ago and feel the time is right build his own company with the support of the other directors.
You will find Wayne in an operational role working continually to improve performance.
James Dodd
Operations Director
James worked 15 years in management for a large retail company. He decided to take a break from management to enable him to spend more time with his Daughter and Wife.
James joined J.Dot as a part time driver in 2019 but quickly progressed through the ranks with a role that allows him to spend more time taking his daughter to and from School.
James is Wayne’s right hand man and is fantastic at problem solving, collating all metrics and making sure that the business runs smoothly 24/7. James is very important to the daily running of the business and a joy to have on board, he’s not afraid to be vocal but in the right manner.
Kalvin King
On Site Manager
Kalvin joined J.Dot early 2021 and at interview stage both James Dodd (Ops Director) & Wayne (MD) both seen something in the way that Kalvin presented himself and spoke with an articulated tongue.
Therefore, it wasn’t long before he was promoted to Station manager. He is respected by his peers and staff alike.
Lee Jepson
On Site Manager
Lee is very much a family man.
He is a great team player and has an amazing rapport with the drivers.
Nothing is too much for him, whether it’s doing a route, covering the office or helping out other drivers.
Gary Spencer
Operations Manager
Gary has worked with James our Operations Director in previous employment and comes highly recommended.
Gary has settled in well and taken to logistics like a duck to water. Gary will turn his hand at any part of the business and has proven a great addition to the team.
There is nothing Gary will not do to help, and is running Wayne and James close for amount of hours he stays switched on.
